Practice cursive X and x
Visual prompt: 𝒳 / 𝓍. Use the handwriting model you are learning if its shape differs.
Use X inside short words
Write each word slowly, then repeat it on the blank line.
Letter-specific note
Cursive x has several common constructions. Some handwriting systems use clearly crossing strokes; others use a more looped connected form, so uppercase and lowercase can look quite different between models.
Readability: The crossing/central change of direction is the key cue. In very fast writing, x can become ambiguous if that feature disappears.
Joining: Because x often involves a crossing or secondary stroke, connection behavior varies. Use the connection taught by your chosen handwriting model instead of treating the digital Script x as stroke-order instruction.
