Letter-specific note

In many Latin cursive systems, lowercase a is built around a rounded body with a forward exit stroke. Capital A varies much more between teaching systems and personal hands.

Readability: A very open body can start to resemble u; a very closed, crowded join can resemble o. Readability usually improves when the body and exit are clearly separated.

Joining: When lowercase a joins the next letter, keep the exit stroke visible so the join does not close the right side and make the pair look like a different letter.

For the full digital mapping and copy controls, see A in cursive.
