Letter-specific note

Lowercase p commonly uses a descending stem with a loop or rounded upper section. Capital P can be much more decorative in cursive and calligraphy.

Readability: A clear upper body plus descender helps prevent p from resembling an unfinished b or a long vertical stroke.

Joining: The descender should remain visually separate from the outgoing connection. Follow your handwriting model for whether the exit comes from the body or returns from the stem.

For the full digital mapping and copy controls, see P in cursive.
