Practice cursive J and j
Visual prompt: 𝒥 / 𝒿. Use the handwriting model you are learning if its shape differs.
Use J inside short words
Write each word slowly, then repeat it on the blank line.
Letter-specific note
Lowercase j usually has a dot plus a descending stroke below the baseline. Capital J can be simple or heavily looped depending on the cursive model.
Readability: The dot and descender are strong cues that separate j from i and other narrow cursive letters.
Joining: The descending tail and the forward connection are not identical in every system. Keep the tail clear and follow the connection pattern of the handwriting model you use.
