Letter-specific note

Lowercase n usually has one main shoulder or hump. Capital N varies substantially between cursive systems.

Readability: One clear shoulder helps distinguish n from m, while a rounded baseline helps distinguish it from a narrow u.

Joining: The outgoing stroke should start after the shoulder is clearly formed, so n does not merge into the next letter and appear to have extra humps.

For the full digital mapping and copy controls, see N in cursive.
