About the Gothic Fraktur style
Unicode Mathematical Fraktur letters: the regular blackletter/Fraktur alphabet used for copy-paste Gothic text. A few capitals reuse older Letterlike Symbols.
Best use: regular Fraktur / blackletter names and short display text. This style belongs to the gothic and blackletter family.
Transformation type: Unicode alphabet. This style substitutes supported Latin letters, and digits when the set includes them, with assigned Unicode mathematical or letterlike characters. Unsupported characters stay unchanged. It is a character substitution, not CSS formatting or an installed font.
Conversion happens in your browser. Stylish Font Generator does not need the text you type in order to generate the result.
Gothic / Fraktur Unicode text
Gothic on this site is the regular Unicode Mathematical Fraktur alphabet: uppercase begins at U+1D504 and lowercase at U+1D51E. The result is copy-paste text, not a webfont or image.
Five uppercase letters use older Letterlike Symbols because Unicode reuses their existing black-letter characters: ℭ C, ℌ H, ℑ I, ℜ R and ℨ Z. Digits and punctuation do not have matching Fraktur characters in this style and remain unchanged.
Gothic, blackletter and Fraktur overlap in everyday search language, but they are not perfect historical synonyms. This page uses “Gothic” as the broad user-facing label and identifies the actual Unicode mapping as Fraktur.
