About the Bold Gothic style
Unicode Mathematical Bold Fraktur letters: the heavier blackletter alphabet, encoded separately from regular Fraktur for A-Z and a-z.
Best use: bold Fraktur / heavy blackletter copy-paste text. This style belongs to the gothic and blackletter family.
Transformation type: Unicode alphabet. This style substitutes supported Latin letters, and digits when the set includes them, with assigned Unicode mathematical or letterlike characters. Unsupported characters stay unchanged. It is a character substitution, not CSS formatting or an installed font.
Conversion happens in your browser. Stylish Font Generator does not need the text you type in order to generate the result.
Bold Gothic is Unicode Mathematical Bold Fraktur
Bold Gothic uses a different Unicode alphabet from regular Gothic/Fraktur. Uppercase begins at U+1D56C MATHEMATICAL BOLD FRAKTUR CAPITAL A and lowercase at U+1D586 MATHEMATICAL BOLD FRAKTUR SMALL A.
Unlike regular Fraktur, this bold range is encoded as a continuous A–Z/a–z set in the current mapping. Digits, punctuation and accented letters remain as typed because this style has no matching bold-Fraktur forms for them.
Choose Bold Gothic when you want the same broad blackletter direction with heavier strokes. For a lighter regular Fraktur look, use Gothic; for the common “Old English font” search label, use the Old English page.
