About the Cyrillic Style style
A mixed Latin/Cyrillic look-alike mapping for decorative text. It is not Russian translation and should not be used to obscure important identifiers.
Best use: a mixed-script visual effect for short decorative text. This style belongs to the effects and texture family.
Transformation type: Unicode mapping. This style maps only the characters that have a defined counterpart in its Unicode mapping. Anything without a safe mapping stays unchanged rather than being guessed.
Conversion happens in your browser. Stylish Font Generator does not need the text you type in order to generate the result.
Cyrillic Style: a mixed-script look-alike mapping
Cyrillic Style is a decorative mapping for Latin input, not Russian translation. In Stylish Font Generator's current 52-letter A-Z/a-z map, 28 positions are replaced with Cyrillic characters that resemble the source letter and 24 positions remain ordinary ASCII Latin.
How it is built: The mapping is fixed character by character. For example, Latin a/c/e can become Cyrillic а/с/е while letters without a chosen visual counterpart stay Latin. The result is therefore intentionally mixed-script text.
Good uses: Keep it to short decorative headings, fictional names or clearly playful text where the ordinary spelling is also available.
Compatibility note: Mixed-script confusables can be misleading in usernames, login names, URLs, payment details or other identity/security contexts. Do not use this style to imitate another person's identifier or to hide the real spelling of important text.
